Plan and compose a piece for a specified group of young people or a single person. They should be between the ages of 4 and 14. Arrange to have the piece performed by the specified group/person.
Examples of what you might do include:
A choral work for school choir with or without accompaniment.
A set of progressive pieces for an instrument and piano or piano solo
A set of pieces for a standard groupng of instruments, (e.g. brass quintet, woodwind quintet, strng quartet, etc.
You should think about or do the following:
Your use of notation - should it be a simpler form of conventional notation or could you devise your own or use a combination of both? Remember the piece(s) should be educational as well as musical and imaginative (or is there a distinction?).
What the teacher is doing at any given point - they ought to be (?!) more skilled at something - would they conduct or could they conduct and play something?

the finished result will need to be recorded and you will need to provide a commentary based on the project. You will also need to obtain (confidential) comments from whomever is in charge of the project at the institution.
